The Carroll Shelby Signature Edition upgrade package can be ordered for the 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 or for the Shelby GT350 from 2015–2020. Moreover, only one hundred cars of each model year can be converted into the SE edition. Each modified Mustang will receive a unique chassis number and will be included in the Shelby American registry.
"The limited Carroll Shelby Signature Edition takes into account the amazing capabilities of these cars," says company president Gary Patterson. "It makes them even more aggressive, refined, and exclusive."
The package for the Ford Shelby GT500SE includes a carbon fiber hood with special slits, new wheels, retuned lowered suspension with short springs, and unique body decor. The power of the 770-horsepower V8 5.2 engine has been raised to more than 800 hp. However, nothing unexpected: in winter, Shelby showed a fastback with a five-liter engine from which it extracted 836 horsepower.
The Shelby GT350 can be equipped with almost the same package, but without engine modification. The first customers who place a pre-order before August 14 will receive the First 15 set, which includes a photo of their Mustang with autographs of Shelby management, a paid hotel room in Las Vegas, and several other bonuses.
