Judging by the only published image, the appearance of the new Carnival will undergo serious changes. The company has designated the future minivan as GUV (Grand Utility Vehicle). Also, the new model will receive a branded radiator grille in the 'tiger nose' style.
Official technical specifications are not yet disclosed, but it is assumed that the next Carnival will be built on the platform of the new generation Sorento crossover. The engine lineup may include a turbocharged 2.5-liter unit with 281 horsepower.
In addition, the appearance of a hybrid version of the minivan is not ruled out, which will combine a 1.6-liter turbo engine and an electric motor. The total output of such a setup could be 230 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
