The hybrid crossover has received the designation X2 xDrive25e and is equipped with a 125-horsepower 1.5 turbo unit, as well as an electric motor with 95 horsepower. The crossover can travel up to 53 km solely on electric power (according to the WLTP cycle). The hybrid will need 6.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h. The top speed is 195 km/h, but in electric mode you cannot go faster than 135 km/h.
Compared to the regular X2, the hybrid version differs in the design of the front bumper without fog lights. LED headlights are standard equipment, as are 17-inch wheels and specific graphics on the instrument panel.
European sales of the hybrid BMW X2 will start in the summer. The price of the model starts from 47,250 euros.
