The limited supercar was planned to be presented back in the spring in Geneva, but the auto show was canceled due to the coronavirus. As a result, the official presentation of the Nissan GT-R50 took place only now, but the manufacturer assured that deliveries to customers will begin as scheduled, and the first example of the model has already been sent to its owner.

Italdesign studio and Nissan created a series of 50 special GT-R supercars in honor of the model's 50th anniversary. The cost of such an exclusive is 990 thousand euros. The Nissan GT-R50 turned out to be ten times more expensive than the base version of this model. The manufacturer noted that it has already received a "significant number of pre-orders," but the entire run has not yet been sold out.

The anniversary version differs from the regular GT-R by its original, wider and longer body, as well as a boosted to 720 hp (780 Nm) turbo engine V6 3.8.
