The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe received the same powertrain as the standard GLE 63, which debuted in autumn 2019. This is a four-liter twin-turbo V8, working together with a starter-generator, a 48-volt on-board electrical system, and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

In the base version, the engine develops 572 hp and 850 Nm of torque, while in the S version, the engine output is increased to 612 horsepower. During sharp accelerations, the EQ Boost system briefly provides an additional 22 hp and 250 Nm.
The top Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The standard equipment of the crossover includes adaptive air suspension and an active body roll control system. A total of six driving modes are provided, optimizing the settings of the engine, transmission, and steering.
In Europe, orders for the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe will begin in spring of this year. Prices for the "hot" crossover will be announced later.
