The entry-level sports car with minimalist design was built on the basis of the Portofino convertible. At the same time, the company claims that Roma is a completely new model.
The design of Roma is made in retro style and somewhat resembles the Daytona. The length of the sports car is 4656 mm, width — 1974 mm, and height — 1301 millimeters. The wheelbase size is 2670 millimeters. The curb weight of the new model is 1472 kilograms. The car received adaptive LED headlights, aggressive bumpers and convex relief fenders. In the interior, an unusual for Ferrari high central console, digital instrument panel, touchscreen display and a separate screen for the passenger appeared.
The sports car is equipped with a 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 petrol engine. The power of the unit is 620 hp and 760 N·m of torque. The engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. For the first time, such a transmission was presented on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale hybrid. Acceleration to hundred takes the new model only 3.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 320 kilometers per hour.
The main competitors of the car are called Aston Martin Vantage and Mercedes-AMG GT. Prices for the car will be announced in the near future. Sales of the sports car are scheduled to start next year.
