The Czech brand has two crossovers bearing the same name Kamiq: one is intended for the European market, and the other was created specifically for China. The European version is based on the modular MQB platform, while the Chinese one uses the PQ25 chassis, familiar from the current Rapid.
The dimensions of the Skoda Kamiq GT are 4409 mm in length, 1781 mm in width, and 1606 mm in height. According to these parameters, the new model will be somewhat longer and taller than the standard Kamiq, but the wheelbase will remain the same — 2610 mm.
It is expected that under the hood of the Skoda Kamiq GT there will be a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a power of 110 hp and a torque of 146 N·m. In addition, a version with a turbocharged unit of 1.2 liters, which develops 116 hp and 175 N·m, may appear.
