The public debut of the new model is scheduled for September 3, 2019. In the teaser, you can see the front part of the upcoming car. The new Nissan Juke will take a number of design solutions from the Qashqai — for example, a V-shaped radiator grille and expressive ribs on the hood.
The crossover will also be equipped with LED optics, rear lights made in the spirit of the 370Z model, and hidden rear door handles. The car is based on the modular CMF-B architecture developed by the Renault–Nissan alliance. The manufacturer claims that the new version will be more spacious and larger than the previous one. In particular, the trunk volume will increase from 354 liters to about 420 liters.
According to unofficial information, at the start of sales, the new Nissan Juke will be offered only with a three-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a volume of one liter. This engine will be paired either with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed robotic transmission with two clutches, which will replace the outdated CVT.
In addition, a 1.3-liter gasoline engine will be provided for the crossover. Versions with a 1.6-liter turbo engine producing 190 horsepower and a 1.5-liter diesel are also expected. In the future, the lineup will be supplemented with hybrid options.
