Mercedes emphasized that this model is the world's first fully electric premium minivan. The production version of the EQV almost completely repeats the concept of the same name, presented in spring 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Depending on the configuration, the car's interior is designed for seven or eight passenger seats. Interestingly, the engine is started with a traditional key, not a button, as in most other electric cars.
Like the prototype, the production minivan is equipped with the MBUX multimedia system, including two combined screens with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and an intelligent voice recognition function that learns over time.
The Mercedes-Benz EQV received one electric motor with a capacity of 204 horsepower, which drives the front wheels. The power plant is powered by a block of lithium-ion batteries, allowing to travel up to 400 kilometers without recharging. The connector for connecting the charger is located in the front bumper.
