The crossover can be distinguished from its predecessor by a more pronounced radiator grille, enlarged underbody protection plates, as well as a new chrome trim on the bumper. Standard equipment now includes LED headlights and rear lights with a 3D effect.
Higher quality materials were used in the interior trim. The R-Link2 infotainment system, for which touchscreens with a diagonal of 7 and 8.7 inches are available, is now supplemented with the Apple CarPlay interface. The list of electronic "assistants" has been expanded with a new automatic emergency braking system that recognizes pedestrians.
Renault Koleos received two new diesel engines. The first, a 1.7-liter unit, develops 150 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The second engine with a displacement of two liters produces 190 hp and 380 newton-meters. Both engines work in conjunction with a CVT and all-wheel drive.
