Sang Yup Lee, who holds the position of vice president of the Hyundai design center, described the appearance of the new generation Tucson as "shocking" and even "frightening." If we focus on the direction set by recent new products, such as the updated Sonata and Venue, we can assume that the crossover will not have an obvious visual kinship with other cars of the Korean brand.
In a conversation with Motor Authority, Sang Yup Lee did not share details, limiting himself to the remark that common stylistic features will not be striking.
