The production version of the electric car will be based on the PB18 e-tron show car, which debuted last summer. The concept was powered by three electric motors with a combined output of 680 horsepower and 830 newton-meters of torque.
If necessary, the power output of the powertrain can temporarily increase to 775 hp. With such indicators, the electric supercar accelerates to 100 km/h in less than two seconds.
The motors are powered by a set of solid-state batteries with a capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours. A full charge is enough for 500 kilometers. Replenishing the energy reserve takes only a quarter of an hour thanks to a special 800-volt system.
According to unofficial data, the production run of the serial Audi PB18 e-tron will be limited to fifty units. Information about the timing of the model's availability and its price is still kept secret.
