Hyundai does not plan to delay the serial production of a new pickup truck, which will also be produced under the Kia brand.
Hyundai design chief Luc Donckerwolke shared information about the company's plans with British journalists.
According to him, the concept pickup truck that was presented at the Detroit auto show in 2015 will become the basis for a production model currently being developed at Hyundai.
The new model is expected to hit the market around 2020. Experts already name models such as the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger as the main competitors for this vehicle.
