In terms of its dimensions, the show car turned out to be close to the A7 Sportback hatchback. The model's length was 4.96 m, width — 1.96 m, and height — 1.38 meters. The wheelbase size is 2.90 m. The electric car has two trunks, front and rear, with volumes of 100 and 450 liters, respectively.

The Audi e-tron GT is equipped with LED matrix optics with graphic elements resembling lightning bolts, 22-inch wheels, and a sporty body kit including side skirts, enlarged air intakes, and a rear diffuser.

The concept is built on a shared platform with the first electric car from Porsche — the Taycan. The Audi e-tron GT is equipped with two electric motors (one on each axle), which together produce 590 hp. The electric car accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km/h takes about 12 seconds. The top speed is limited to 240 km/h.

The production version of the Audi e-tron GT will debut in 2020 as a competitor to the Tesla Model S.
