The announcement is backed by the first teaser of the crossover, showing the rear part of the future car. Judging by the image, the second-generation Kia Soul will retain its characteristic angular body shape.
The Koreans are not yet disclosing all technical details. It is only known that the engine lineup of the new Soul will include turbocharged gasoline engines. The model will also get a fully electric version. The next-generation Kia Soul will be built on a new platform that provides for the use of an all-wheel drive system, so it is possible that the crossover will have a 4x4 modification.
