The car named A35 will become the most affordable vehicle in the Mercedes-AMG lineup and will be presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show in October of this year. After that, it will immediately go on sale in Europe. Prices for the new model will be announced later.
Externally, the car resembles the new-generation coupe-like CLS sedan. From the standard version of the hatchback, the "charged" model will differ with a different radiator grille, aggressive bumpers, a diffuser, and different lighting. Inside the car, sport seats and special AMG badges will be installed.
The A35 hatchback will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The unit's power will exceed 300 hp. The engine will work in conjunction with a seven-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch. The car's dynamic characteristics will be announced later.
