The engine range has been expanded with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 200 horsepower. This unit can be paired with either a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
The Opel Insignia with this engine accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, and the top speed reaches 235 km/h. In the combined cycle, fuel consumption is stated at 6.5-6.3 liters per 100 kilometers.
In addition to the new engine, the Insignia has received updated Multimedia and Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment systems. The most expensive version also features a head-up display. On the German market, the Opel Insignia with this engine starts at 35,195 euros.
