Sales of the new model will begin immediately after the motor show. European customers will be offered the car in two modifications.

The base version of the Kia Niro EV is equipped with a block of lithium-polymer batteries with a capacity of 39.2 kWh, which allow the crossover to travel 200 kilometers without recharging.
The top version is equipped with batteries of 64 kWh, thanks to which the maximum range increases to 450 kilometers. When using a 100-kilowatt fast charging system, the battery reserve can be replenished to 80% in 54 minutes.

The all-road vehicle is equipped with an electric motor developing 204 hp and 395 Nm of torque. The unit allows the electric car to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. For comparison, the power plant of the hybrid version of the Niro produces 141 horsepower and accelerates the crossover to 100 km/h in about 11 seconds.
