Spy photos of the car were published by Motor1. In the model lineup, the new product will replace the Mohave model and become the largest crossover of the Korean brand.
Judging by the images, the production version of the crossover will get a different radiator grille and will also lose the non-standard rear doors that open against the direction of travel. In addition, the new product will differ from the prototype with modified headlights.
According to preliminary data, the production Kia Telluride will be built on an extended Sorento platform. The new product will be offered with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. It is possible that the Kia Telluride will borrow from the concept car a hybrid powertrain, which includes a 270-horsepower 3.5-liter gasoline V6, as well as an electric motor with a capacity of 130 horsepower.
The premiere of the car may take place at the end of this year. Global sales of the large crossover are planned for 2019. Whether this model will be available for purchase on the Russian market is still unknown.
