The Kia Niro EV first debuted this winter as a concept car at the CES electronics show in Las Vegas.
The production-ready version of the electric car has been stripped of its conceptual flair. Compared to the gasoline Niro, the "green" version differs with a modified front end featuring a charging port in the grille, as well as original 17-inch wheels.

Two traction battery options are available for the model, with capacities of 39.2 or 64 kWh. The manufacturer has not disclosed the power output of the powertrain, but the concept had 204 hp. The driving range varies from 240 to 380 km depending on the version.
The Kia Niro EV will appear on the Korean market in July. The timing of the model's European debut has not yet been announced.
