The new version of the model, which received the name eCrafter, will be officially presented at the end of April at the auto show in Birmingham.

Externally, the electric version of the Crafter is no different from other modifications of the van. The traction batteries are placed under the floor and do not limit the space in the cargo compartment.
The eCrafter is powered by a 100-kilowatt electric motor (136 hp). The maximum speed is forcibly limited to a modest 90 km/h. The range is not too impressive – only 160 km. At a fast charging station, the batteries can be "refueled" to 80% in 45 minutes.
