The Audi Q5 L features a wheelbase extended by 89 mm (2908 mm) and an overall length increased by 102 mm, reaching 4765 mm. Other dimensions of the crossover remain unchanged. Apart from the enlarged rear doors, the Q5 L has no design differences.
The presentation of the long-wheelbase version of the Q5 took place during the opening of the Audi Q Plant in Changchun. The new enterprise was created specifically for the production of Audi's crossover lineup.
In the Chinese market, extended versions of the A4, A6, and A8 sedans are already available, but this is the first time a "long" crossover has appeared in the company's model range.
