Externally, the hybrid Sonata differs from other versions, which were updated last spring, in the design of the rear bumper, as well as the special design of 17-inch alloy wheels.
The hybrid powertrain has not undergone significant changes and still combines a two-liter gasoline engine with 156 hp and a 52-hp electric motor. The only difference is the increased battery capacity from 1.62 to 1.76 kWh.
Sales of the updated Sonata Hybrid sedan will start in the spring, and the plug-in hybrid version will appear in showrooms closer to summer.
