The new Touareg turned out to be very similar to the T-Prime Concept GTE show car, which was presented in Beijing in the spring of last year.
The crossover has become noticeably more solid and has clearly moved closer in design to the latest Audi models.
The third generation of the Touareg will be based on the modular MLB Evo platform, and the crossover itself will probably grow slightly in size.
It is expected that the presentation of the new Volkswagen Touareg will take place in April at the auto show in Beijing, although an earlier debut at the Geneva Motor Show is also possible.
