Renault has expanded the engine lineup of the Megane model with a new petrol engine, Energy TCe 165.
The 1.6-liter turbo engine is a de-tuned version of the 205-horsepower Energy TCe 205 engine and produces 165 hp (250 Nm). The newcomer is paired with the only available 7-speed dual-clutch "robot" EDC.
The "Megane" with the new engine will need 8.2 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h. The top speed is 215 km/h. The average fuel consumption is 6 liters per 100 km.
