Renault has added a new turbo engine to the Kadjar crossover, which turned out to be the most powerful in the model's lineup.
The turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine produces 165 horsepower, with peak torque reaching 240 Nm. There is only one gearbox available — a six-speed manual, with no other options offered.
With this powertrain, the Qashqai accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds, and its top speed is capped at 205 km/h.
The updates also affected the diesel crossover: the 130-horsepower 1.6 dCi engine can now be paired with the X-Tronic continuously variable transmission.
