According to insider data from Auto Bild, Volkswagen has returned to the idea of producing a mini-crossover based on the up! compact car.
The new crossover will debut in 2020 under the name T-Track.
Its direct predecessor is considered to be the Taigun show car (pictured), which toured world exhibition venues several years ago, but never made it into production.
Technical details are not yet disclosed, but there is reason to expect that the T-Track will be powered by three-cylinder engines from the new Polo lineup.
