Even under a dense layer of camouflage, it is noticeable that the new GLE will retain the familiar body contours, but the tailgate will acquire a more expressive relief, and the rear window will become less inclined.

According to available data, the crossover will be built on the MHA platform, the same one that underpins the new E-Class. Thanks to the change in architecture, the GLE will be able to shed several tens of kilograms of excess weight and gain sharper handling.

The premiere of the new-generation Mercedes-Benz GLE is expected to take place no earlier than next year.
