The hybrid version of the CR-V received a powertrain combining a two-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total output of this combination reaches 212 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission — a CVT — is responsible for transmitting torque. A similar hybrid system is used on the Honda Accord Hybrid sedan.
Engineers have not yet released more detailed technical data about the first hybrid CR-V.
Outside the Chinese market, the new model will appear closer to the beginning of autumn.
