Externally, the Tahoe RST can be distinguished by its 22-inch wheels and the absence of chrome, which has been replaced by black gloss.

Under the hood of the "charged" SUV sits an impressive 6.2-liter V8 producing 426 hp and 624 Nm of torque. Paired with the engine is a new 10-speed automatic transmission. This combination accelerates the three-ton Tahoe from zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.7 seconds.

As an option for the RST version, Brembo brake mechanisms with improved wear resistance are offered, as well as a Borla exhaust system.
Sales of the Chevrolet Tahoe RST start in the fall. Prices have not been announced yet.
