A new compact crossover from Volkswagen will be presented in the second half of this year, most likely at the autumn auto show in Frankfurt.
In its announcement, the Germans hint that the future model should become the production embodiment of the T-Roc concept car, which debuted back in 2014.
The new crossover will be built on the modular MQB platform, and in the brand's lineup it will be positioned one step below the Tiguan model.
Production of the production T-Roc will be established at the concern's Portuguese plant in the city of Palmela.
