The new Civic Type R has received a more aggressive appearance with an impressive "sculpted" rear wing and striking triple exhaust tips.

The interior of the hot hatch has gained sporty bucket seats, a digital instrument cluster, and a selector for the system offering three driving modes: Comfort, Sport, or +R.

The upgraded two-liter turbo engine now produces 320 hp (+10 hp) and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is still paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission.

The dynamic characteristics of the "hot" model have not yet been disclosed.
Production of the new Honda Civic Type R will begin in the summer at the company's British plant in Swindon.
