Skoda has started production of the compact turbo engine 1.0 TSI at its plant in Mlada Boleslav.
The updated version of the Skoda Octavia received a new three-cylinder engine. This unit develops 115 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, thanks to which the car reaches the first hundred in 10 seconds.
Two transmission options are offered for this engine: a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-range DSG "robot".
The modernized Octavia has recently appeared on the Ukrainian market, but versions with such a power unit are not yet available in our country.
