The new Duster will likely be built on the CMF modular architecture, which is already used in the larger Nissan Qashqai and Renault Kadjar crossovers. Thanks to this platform, engineers will be able to create an extended version of the model, designed for three rows of seats.

In addition, it is expected that the outdated 1.5-liter diesel unit will be replaced by a more modern engine with a volume of 1.6 liters.

There is no official information about the new crossover yet, however, according to preliminary data, the second generation of the Duster may debut before the end of next year.
