When creating the model, students were inspired by utes, which are very popular in Australia – pickups based on passenger car models. In addition, the Volvo V90 station wagon was used as a reference.
The Varok pickup turned out to be quite rugged in appearance, as befits a real ute. For better practicality, the three-seat cabin can be converted into a five-seat one by placing a second row of seats in the cargo area and installing a removable roof.
Volkswagen Varok exists exclusively in pictures; nothing is known yet about the release of a full-fledged concept.
