Following the restyling of the standard Octavia modifications, the RS version has also awaited its turn for an update. The new design fits well into the style of the "charged" model, emphasizing the aggression hidden under the hood. As before, the RS variant is available for both the hatchback and the wagon.
The power of the two-liter turbo engine has been increased to 230 hp (+10 hp), but the torque remains the same (350 Nm). Improved performance allowed shaving 0.1 seconds off the acceleration to 100 km/h, which now takes 6.7 seconds. The diesel RS version remains unchanged.
The model now offers an upgraded Columbus multimedia system with a 9-inch screen, as well as electronic assistants that monitor blind spots in mirrors, track pedestrians, and warn of frontal collisions.
