The GT modification is only conceptually a concept, as the model is fully ready for production. Compared to the "regular" American version of the Passat, the GT differs with slightly modified bumpers, red trim on the radiator grille, a small spoiler, and 19-inch wheels.
In addition, the sedan received a suspension lowered by 15 mm and a retuned exhaust system. Under the hood sits a 283-horsepower engine with a displacement of 3.6 liters.
The launch of the GT modification into production will largely depend on the public's reaction to the "concept."
