The headlights of the updated Octavia have split and now slightly resemble the Mercedes E-Class in the 212 body. The new optics can be fully LED, leaving bi-xenon light in the past. Among other differences, one can note the revised bumpers and fog lights, as well as a new design of alloy wheels.

The interior during the restyling gained several touch buttons and an increased to 9 inches screen of the Columbus multimedia system.

The list of options has added several new active safety systems that warn of frontal collisions, recognize pedestrians, and also monitor blind spots in the mirrors and help when reversing.

The range of power units, as well as transmissions, was decided to leave unchanged.
Sales of the updated Octavia family start at the beginning of next year.
