The Volkswagen Group has declassified the first official information about the production version of a full-size crossover, which will be named Atlas, through a short video.
The overall length of the "Atlas" will be more than five meters, and thus it will become the largest crossover in the model lineup. Under the hood, two engine options will be offered: a two-liter turbocharged unit with 240 horsepower and a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.6 liters, producing 280 horsepower.
The debut of this crossover is scheduled for the end of October in California. Assembly of the model will also be organized at the concern's plant in the USA.
