The concept is equipped with two electric motors – one for each axle. The total power of the engines is 408 hp, torque is 700 Nm. Without recharging, the Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ can travel 500 km.
Instead of rear-view mirrors, cameras are used that transmit images to monitors in the doors. The instruments are integrated into a huge 20-inch display that stretches across almost the entire front panel.
The production version of the electric crossover will appear no earlier than 2019. The Germans consider the American Tesla Model X to be the main competitor of the future model.
