Compact electric car Renault Zoe should get a new modification with a range increased by more than one and a half times.
According to Dutch media reports, the new model will be called ZOE ZE 40. It will be equipped with an electric motor developing 88 horsepower and a battery pack with a capacity of 41 kWh. The updated powertrain will provide a driving range of 400 kilometers on a single charge, while the current version can only travel 240 kilometers.
The base version of the Zoe will retain the existing 77-horsepower electric motor and a 22 kWh battery.
