The future Rexton will be built on a completely new platform, but will remain true to the body-on-frame design. The engine lineup will retain the 2.2-liter diesel from Mercedes, which may be joined by a turbocharged gasoline engine.
According to preliminary information, the new generation of the Rexton will be presented next spring in Geneva.
