According to preliminary data, the debut of the concept of the future model will be presented in mid-August at the auto show in Indonesia.
As can be seen from the teaser, the all-new crossover will get an aggressive front end, styled in accordance with the Dynamic Shield design concept. Recall that it also formed the basis of the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Also, the prototype clearly resembles the eX crossover shown in 2015.
According to rumors, the compact crossover may get an electric powertrain and powerful batteries that will allow the all-wheel-drive vehicle to travel up to 400 kilometers without recharging. In addition, the prototype will receive a set of modern electronic assistants and an autopilot.
Production of the new model is scheduled to start in 2020.
