Murano became the fourth model to be produced at this plant, after X-Trail, Qashqai and Pathfinder had already been assembled there.
According to Motor, the Russia-adapted version of the Nissan Murano received increased ground clearance, a wider track and modified steering settings. The crossover was also equipped with the ERA-GLONASS system, making it the first Nissan on the Russian market with an automatic accident notification function.

The model will be offered with a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 249 horsepower, paired with a CVT and all-wheel drive. In addition, a hybrid version is provided, in which a 2.5-liter gasoline unit is supplemented by an electric motor with a capacity of 20 horsepower.
It is worth noting that currently only one Nissan assembled at the Russian enterprise is presented on the Ukrainian market — the Sentra sedan. Whether the Russian-assembled Murano will appear in Ukraine remains an open question.
