Recently, the last fact was confirmed at a test site. During the tests, the crossover crossed the speed mark of 301 km/h.

The Bentley Bentayga is powered by a "Volkswagen" gasoline twin-turbo W12 engine with a displacement of six liters. Even during the presentation in May, the powertrain engineers reported that its power was increased to 608 hp, and the maximum torque to 900 Nm. But as it became known, this is not the limit, since it is quite possible that the British company may decide to release a charged (and it is quite charged in the base) version of the crossover, additionally boosting the engine. With it, the car should break the record of 320 km/h.

Among other things, the most powerful version of the Bentayga will receive additional exterior tuning. This will affect the change in the shapes of bumpers, spoilers, an increase in the size of air intakes and side body kits.

In addition to the 6.0-liter W12, the engine lineup will include a gasoline V8, a twelve-cylinder diesel, and a hybrid powertrain.

It is already known that the presentation of the new product will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will go on sale in 2016, and a hybrid modification will appear a year later.
