At the Buenos Aires auto show, along with the hot Sandero RS, the French brand presented the Duster Oroch pickup truck.
The new model was built by the subsidiary Renault Design America Latina, located in Brazilian Sao Paulo. Unlike the Duster SUV, the pickup version features a full double cab, an extended wheelbase, and an increased rear overhang.
The total length of the vehicle has increased from 4.3 to 4.7 m, while the cargo bed length is 1.35 m (with a folding side). The pickup's payload capacity is 650 kg.
The engine lineup includes the same units that power the base version of the SUV: a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 hp, and a 2.0-liter engine with 148 hp. Both engines are paired with manual gearboxes or a 4-speed automatic (in the latter case, exclusively in the top trim).
