The new 2016 Ford Transit will feature a rear-view camera and a trailer towing assistance system as standard equipment.
New body paint colors have been added. There will be four such colors, and for high-roof versions there will be an option to equip them with double sliding doors.
Options for the new Ford Transit will include a new AGM battery, an additional fuse block, an upgraded alternator, and an updated version of the infotainment system.

The Ford Transit Connect, with a 2.5-liter engine, is equipped with a "Flex-fuel" system that allows the use of not only gasoline but also ethanol blends as fuel.
In the Titanium version, the Ford Transit Connect Wagon will be offered with a second row of bucket seats. New 17-inch alloy wheels will also be available in the XLT and Titanium trims.
