Mercedes-Benz has announced the release of the most affordable version of the C-Class model, named C160.
The car will be equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 129 hp and a six-speed manual transmission.
It is reported that this version will be cheaper than the current entry-level model - the C180 (with a similar engine but 156 hp), which is currently offered in Germany at a price of 33,700 euros. The new model will cost from 31,600 euros.
Sales of the Mercedes-Benz C160 on the German market will start tomorrow, and deliveries to other countries will begin in early summer.
