Back in the summer of 2014, a test prototype of the new Transporter caught the eye of paparazzi. At that time, only the front part of the car was camouflaged, so it is safe to say that the appearance of the new model will not change radically compared to the current generation van. And a recently published teaser confirms this – the van will get a slightly refreshed design, developed in the style of the Tristar concept.
The updated car will be based on the platform of its predecessor. But the range of engines will be completely updated: for the new T6, Volkswagen will offer engines from the Passat B8 model (with a displacement from 1.4 to 2.0 liters, producing from 125 to 280 horsepower). The new model will go on sale in the second half of this year.
