The updated Prius has acquired different bumpers, a radiator grille, new LED headlights and other rear lights. The color palette has been expanded with two new shades.
The interior of the modernized model boasts a new infotainment system with a 4.2-inch display, chrome door handles and a large number of ventilation air ducts. Optionally, the car will be equipped with a hill-start assist system, an automatic parking system and electric seat adjustments.
In addition, the car has received improved sound insulation, a retuned suspension and a refined powertrain, which now fully complies with Euro-6 emission standards.
At the same time, the components of the powertrain remain unchanged: a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 99 hp, an 81-hp electric motor and lithium-ion batteries. The Prius+ accelerates to 100 km/h in 11.3 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.1 liters per 100 km.
